Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your information.

Last Updated on October 5, 2026

Our Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the PartyBreeze service (hereby referred to as "Application"), including:

  • the website at partybreezeapp.com and related domains; and
  • the mobile apps published as The PartyBreeze App on iOS and Android

that was created by (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

Depending on how you use the Application, we may collect and store the following categories of information.

Account information

  • Email address (used to create and sign in to your account)
  • Name or profile details you choose to provide (such as full name or avatar)
  • Account identifiers (such as your account id)
  • Account role and trial-related flags (for example, whether a trial has been used)

We do not require a phone number to create a PartyBreeze account. Sign-in uses an email one-time code (OTP).

Event planning information

When you plan events in the Application, we store the content you create, which may include:

  • Event names, types, dates, themes, status, and guest-size ranges
  • Locations and addresses
  • Budgets and related budget details
  • Tasks and checklists
  • Timeline steps
  • Notes
  • Saved / bookmarked templates associated with your account

Guests, invitations, and RSVPs

If you use invitations or guest lists, we may store:

  • Invitation titles and invitation content you create
  • Event address and RSVP deadline shown on invitations
  • Guest names and contact information that hosts or guests enter (such as optional phone numbers)
  • RSVP responses (for example, yes, no, or maybe) and whether a guest was added by the host

Public invitation links allow guests to respond without creating a PartyBreeze account. Information guests submit through those links is stored with the related event.

Subscription and billing information

If you subscribe, we process billing through third parties and may store subscription-related records such as:

  • Subscription status, plan/period, trial end, and cancel-at-period-end flags
  • Whether the subscription is managed through Stripe (web) or Apple / Google via RevenueCat (mobile)
  • Stripe customer and subscription identifiers when you pay on the web
  • App Store / Play / RevenueCat purchase identifiers as needed to keep access in sync

We do not store full payment card numbers. Card and store payment details are handled by Stripe, Apple, Google, and/or RevenueCat.

Technical and usage information

When you use the website or mobile apps, our hosting, auth, and related providers may process technical information such as:

  • IP address and approximate location derived from IP
  • Device, operating system, and browser information
  • Pages or screens visited, timestamps, and referral source (primarily on the web)
  • Authentication session data
  • Diagnostics and logs needed to operate and secure the service

This information is used for security, troubleshooting, and improving the Application.

The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time with important account or product notices, security or billing messages, and support-related communications.

How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Application (event planning, invitations, RSVPs, and related features)
  • Authenticate you and keep you signed in
  • Process subscriptions and manage access to paid features
  • Protect security and prevent abuse or unauthorized access
  • Respond to support requests
  • Understand usage in aggregate and improve product performance and reliability
  • Comply with legal obligations when required

Third Party Access

The Service Provider uses trusted service providers (processors) to run the Application. These providers process information on our behalf to provide authentication, database hosting, payments, app distribution, and web hosting. Their own privacy policies also apply to the services they provide.

Processors we use include:

  • Supabase — authentication and database
  • Stripe — web subscription billing and payment processing
  • Apple and Google — mobile app distribution and in-app purchases
  • RevenueCat — mobile subscription / purchase management that syncs with our access records
  • Vercel — website and API hosting
  • Email delivery used for sign-in one-time codes (OTP) through our authentication provider

Only aggregated, anonymized data may periodically be used to help improve the Application. The Service Provider may also share User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

  • as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
  • when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
  • with their trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

Opt Out Rights

You can stop collection of information associated with an active PartyBreeze account by deleting your account (see Account Deletion below).

On the website, you can also adjust your browser settings to block cookies and tracking. Some features may not work without essential cookies or an active signed-in session.

Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your PartyBreeze account yourself:

  • Mobile: open Account in The PartyBreeze App and use Delete Account
  • Web: open Account in the signed-in web Application, or use the public Delete Account page at /delete-account on the PartyBreeze website

Deletion is an immediate hard delete. When deletion completes, we remove your authentication account and host-owned Application data, including your profile/account record, events, tasks/checklists, notes, timeline data, invitations, RSVPs/guest lists, event budgets, saved templates, and your PartyBreeze subscription row.

Public invitation links stop working once the related event data is deleted. There is no recovery after a completed deletion.

What we retain or cannot delete for you

  • Stripe: Stripe Customer records, invoices, and payment history remain in Stripe for billing, tax, and compliance purposes. We do not delete those Stripe records when you delete your PartyBreeze account. If you had a Stripe subscription, we cancel it when possible so it does not renew.
  • Audit breadcrumb: we may keep an optional HMAC-hashed version of your email (not your raw email address) in an account_deletions audit record for support and abuse prevention.
  • Shared / global content: global templates and CMS-style catalog content may remain available to other users, with any creator reference unset where applicable.
  • Apple subscriptions: we cannot cancel Apple billing on your behalf. If you subscribed through the App Store, you must cancel in your Apple subscription settings (for example, Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or Apple’s subscriptions page). Otherwise Apple may continue to bill you even after your PartyBreeze account is deleted.
  • Google Play subscriptions: when you delete your account, we attempt to cancel renewal through our mobile billing provider when the required identifiers are available.

Support at support@partybreezeapp.com can help if you have trouble with deletion, but emailing support is not required to delete your account.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider retains User Provided data for as long as your account remains active. After you delete your account, host-owned Application data described above is removed immediately, subject to the retained items listed under Account Deletion. Technical logs held by processors may persist for a limited time according to those providers’ retention practices.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Website

Our website may use cookies to enhance your browsing experience and collect information about how you interact with our site. We use both essential cookies (required for basic site functionality and signed-in sessions) and optional cookies (for analytics and personalization, when enabled).

You can adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. However, please note that some features of the site may not function properly without essential cookies.

We may also use third-party cookies from analytics and authentication services. These are subject to their respective privacy policies.

Mobile app

The mobile app does not use website cookies in the same way. It stores an authentication session securely on your device (for example, using the platform secure storage / SecureStore) so you can stay signed in. Clearing app data or signing out removes that local session.

Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. The Service Provider encourages parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child under 13 has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Application and/or Services, please contact the Service Provider at support@partybreezeapp.com so that they will be able to take the necessary actions. You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains, including reliance on reputable processors for authentication, database, and hosting security controls.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-10-05

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
